Unit Manager- Residential support facility
6-month contract, possibility to extend.
37.5 hours per week- no nights
£37k pro rata
Think of a beautiful manor house at the hub of a community looking after its residents. We’re a lovely bunch, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. What are you waiting for?
Who are you?
You’ll have a minimum of Level 3 QCF in Health and Social care under your belt. You’ll be best friends with the Home Manager and your communication is second to none. You’ll have no problem forming excellent relationships with resident family members, professional bodies and your team. You’ll know your way around a computer and if someone asks you to note down an appointment in a calendar, you’ll know what to do. MCA ad DOL’s? You know the ins and outs like the back of your hand.
What will I be doing?
You’ll be a star delegator, able to jump in and take responsibility and your goal is always to ensure the needs and care of our residents are met and carried out to the highest standards. You have a good understanding of CQC requirements, and your aim is to make sure we do the very best we can. You’ll be the first port of call for your team, so experience in managing people is key. You’ll assist with inductions, appraisals and supervisions of support workers as well as managing the rosters to make sure we’re always staffed well. We love creativity, someone who can organise fun activities for our residents and show them how to have a good time!
You’ll be working for a learning disability charity. Set amongst beautiful green pastures, our main hub is a beautiful manor house surrounded by our other units. We’ve created our own little community here and we’d love you to join our team!
